We are praying for God to raise the men of CrossPoint to be biblically-saturated, servant-hearted, and Christ-centered.

On the first Sunday of every month, the men of our church meet in the Fellowship Hall at 7AM. We gather for an amazing breakfast, corporate prayer, and biblical teaching geared toward men. We call this time Band of Brothers.

Through Band of Brothers we have also taken food and served together at a local homeless shelter downtown. In addition, we had a men’s retreat at LSU’s BCM so that we could serve (by doing volunteer construction), fellowship (by being in the same place), and study the Word together.

Two other aspects of ministry to men might be beneficial for you to know. First, there is a men’s class that meets every Sunday for Bible Study at 9AM in the last room (if your back is to Airline) in the Classroom Building. Second, we have a men’s softball team. Last year we placed third in a city league. Our primary purpose is fellowship with one another, but it has also been a great opportunity to invite the other teams to CrossPoint.

Every Tuesday morning at 5am, the men @ CrossPoint join together in the Worship Center for a time of Bible Study, prayer and fellowship to learn how to live out Nehemiah 8:13.
